This year’s Mothers’ Day, with the theme: “Available Mother,” was marked along with the centenary anniversary of the Women Missionary Union (WMU) of Nigeria Baptist Convention. The church’s WMU leader, Mrs. Abosede Adelaja, led the women in appreciating God and honouring some women in the church, including Mrs. Temilade Ogundare, the church Pastor’s wife. The Youth Sunday, 2nd June 2019, commenced the week, when the Church Pastor, Abimbola Ogundare, temporarily handed over the symbolic key (the church leadership) to the Youth Leader, Brother Iyiola Fafore and the Youth Pastor, Sister Funmi Adeyemo. Pastor Ogundare was also appreciated by the church MMU for his remarkable leadership role.
